Store Space Settles Overtime Lawsuit

 

Real Capital Leasing LLC, doing business as Store Space Self Storage in Florida, Texas and New England, has agreed to pay $360,000 to settle a class action lawsuit alleging violations of wage-and-hour laws, including unpaid overtime for store managers and assistant managers between Oct. 2022 and Oct 2025.

Baranof Holdings acquired a storage facility in lease-up in Sparks, Nevada, from a private individual for $8.4 million.

Storage Star Buys in Alaska

 

Colliers represented Storage Star on its purchase of Midtown Self Storage in Anchorage, Alaska. 

 

White Label Improves New York Operations

 

White Label Storage released a case study from a Kingston, New York, facility. Since January 2025, the facility has seen monthly revenue grow by 63%, occupancy climb from 79% to 90% and delinquencies drop from 31.7% to 14%.

 

Guardian Opens in Pittsburgh

 

Guardian Storage opened a second location in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, called Guardian Storage Irwin.
