Rialto, YourStorageUnits Finances Storage

 

A partnership between Rialto Capital Management and YourStorageUnits has secured $140 million in revolving credit for seven recently built self storage properties in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina, as well as other storage assets that are currently under construction. Natixis Corporate & Investment Banking provided the credit facility. Rialto purchased four of the assets from Delta Capital Management.

 

Kure It Tourney Raises $300K

 

The fifth annual Kure It Cancer Research’s Rivals Cup Golf Tournament in Newport Beach, California, raised $300,000. Proceeds benefit the USC and UCLA Cancer Centers. A number of celebrity golfers participated in the event, including former NFL greats Steve Hauschka, Steve Beuerlein, and Evan Moore. Kure It, Inc. is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing funding for translational research projects focused on kidney cancer and other underfunded cancers. It was founded by Westport Properties founder Barry Hoeven in 2007 after his diagnosis with kidney cancer.

Arcland Property Company, LLC, intends to build a storage facility in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Arcland operates Self Storage Plus from its Washington, DC, headquarters.

Investment Real Estate, LLC brokered the sale of Fairview Self Storage in Woodlyn, Pennsylvania, to a private buyer. The property is in the Philadelphia MSA.

Talonvest Secures Loan for Capital 360

 

Talonvest Capital negotiated a $22.7 million construction loan for Capital 360 LLC. to construct a new storage facility in Los Angeles, California.

 

Marcus & Millichap Sells Texas Property

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Brauntex Storage in New Braunfels, Texas. Dave Knobler and Jon Danklefs listed the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company, and procured the New York-based buyer.

 

Speegle Joins SROA Capital

 

SROA Capital, LLC, a Florida-based real estate investment and management firm and owner/operator of Storage Rentals of America, appointed Kenneth Speegle as chief operating officer. Speegle spent 18 years at Extra Space Storage.

JLL Brokers Texas Sale

 

JLL Capital Markets closed the sale of Imperial Self Storage in Sugar Land, Texas. JLL marketed the property on behalf of the seller, SurePoint Self Storage. OB Companies/My Place Self Storage acquired the asset. Steve Mellon, Brian Somoza, Matthew Wheeler and Adam Roossien represented SurePoint.
