Blue Vista Launches $600M Venture

 

Blue Vista Capital Management teamed up with UBS’s Unified Global Alternatives multi-manager business and Extra Space Storage on a dedicated US self storage venture. Blue Vista will launch an investment vehicle with $600 million in initial buying power, which the three partners will use to assemble a nationwide portfolio, according to PERE.

Storable: Concerns About New Competition

 

Based on a survey of nearly 500 self storage operators, a survey by Storable found that 31% say competition from new market entrants is their top concern in 2026. 

 

Basis Lands Construction Loan

 

Basis Industrial received a $27 million construction loan for a storage project in the Long Island, New York, community of Rockville Centre. Public Storage will operate the facility.
