Colorado Asset Sells to Investor

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Astrozon Self Storage in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The buyer was a privately held real estate investment firm in New York.

 

 

 

 

 

Maxwell Joins On The Move

 

Stacie Maxwell, the long-time vice president of marketing and training for Universal Storage Group, will leave the company after 23 years to become director of insurance for On The Move, which specializes in ancillary storage products including trucks, tenant protection and property insurance.

Stacie is a highly respected individual in the storage industry and will bring great value to SecureLease,” said CJ Stratte, CEO of On The Move.

 

Storage Authority Moving Ahead in New Jersey

 

A new Storage Authority has obtained financing to construct a facility in Glassboro, New Jersey. Storage Authority Buck Road is expected to open in mid-2025.

 

Pogoda Buys Indiana Asset

 

Pogoda Companies acquired Northside Mini Storage in Evansville, Indiana, the company’s second in the city. The property will be rebranded National Storage.

 

Citizen to Manage Michigan Site

 

Citizen Storage Management will manage the former Secure Storage in Clarklake, Michigan. This is Citizen’s 16th location.

 

JLL Provides Loan for Florida Developments

 

JLL Capital Markets arranged a $75 million construction loan for six storage properties to be built in Vero Beach, Sebring, Ocoee, Cocoa, Ft. Myers and Ft. Pierce, Florida. The developer and borrower is YourStorageUnits Capital Partners.

 

U-Haul Buys in Georgia

 

U-Haul has acquired the former Lazy Day Storage in Buford, Georgia, near Lake Lanier.

 

Moove In Finishing Connecticut Project

 

Moove In Self Storage is nearing completion of a new facility in Norwich, Connecticut, and expects an October opening. It’s Moove In’s seventh location in the state.

 

SmartStop Adds in South Carolina

 

SmartStop Self Storage acquired a facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina. It’s SmartStop’s fourth facility in the state.

 

Investors Buy California Storage

 

Westlake Realty Group and Frontera Real Estate Investments acquired Mariners Drive Self Storage in Stockton, California, for $9.4 million, according to CoStar.
