Go Store It Self Storage opened a facility in Savannah, Georgia. The property is an adaptive reuse of a former grocery store.

 

Florida Town Enacts Moratorium

 

The Cape Coral, Florida, city council approved a moratorium on new self storage facilities. The moratorium will expire in January 2025.

 

REIT Buys Southern Portfolio

 

IPC Alternative Real Estate Income Trust acquired four storage properties located in Atlanta, Georgia, and Montgomery, Alabama, for $25.5 million. Inland Private Capital was the seller.

CBRE brokered the following sales:

•    A storage development site in Lehigh Acres, Florida, to a private investor for $4.5 million.
•    A facility in Brookfield, Wisconsin. The buyer was Merit Hill Capital.

 

U-Haul Plans South Dakota Site

 

U-Haul began construction on a new facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Completion is expected in early 2025.
