Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation and La Terra Development acquired EZ Access Self-Storage in Santa Clarita, California, for $27 million. The seller was a local property investor. 

 

 

 

Yardi: Construction Starts Decline 

 

Self storage construction starts declined 12.8% in the first half of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024, according to Yardi Matrix. 

 

West Coast Opens Facility, Manages Another

 

West Coast Self-Storage opened a new facility in Indio, California, serving the Coachella Valley. West Coast also assumed management of a facility formerly known as Roosevelt Self Storage in Seattle, Washington.

Dinius Named Five Star’s COO

 

Five Star Storage appointed Joe Dinius as its new chief operating officer. Dinius will step into the role upon the retirement of Jan Johnson, who will retire in April 2026.
