StoreEase will implement its virtual technology platform as a SaaS white label solution for Go Store It. The initial rollout will be for 11 properties in North Carolina and South Carolina. Go Store It will deploy virtual managers to its facility offices via StoreEase’s patented virtual counter hardware.

MJ Partners Brokers Sales

 

MJ Partners brokered the sale of two Extra Space Storage (managed) properties in Yaphank, New York and Walpole, Massachusetts. Marc Boorstein, Jeff Jacobson and David Kohn represented a joint venture between a private developer and a private equity real estate company. MJ Partners also sold a property in Greenwood, Indiana, in conjunction with Macy Storage Company.

 

Davis Promoted at Central States

 

Central States Manufacturing Inc. named Jennifer Davis to the newly created position of corporate market officer. She will oversee marketing, strategy and innovation. Central States is a supplier of metal building components and roofing to self storage.

 

Public Storage Completes Simply Acquisition

 

Public Storage has completed the acquisition of Simply Self Storage from Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. for $2.2 billion. The portfolio comprises 127 wholly-owned properties across 18 states.

 

Davison Sells Lancaster Asset

 

Davison Associates LLC brokered the sale of a facility in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Brian Davison represented a family owner and sold to an institutional grade buyer.

 

SurePoint Plans Texas Development

 

SurePoint Development will develop a storage facility in New Braunfels, Texas, with construction starting in 2024. CubeSmart will manage the property.

 

New Jersey Storage Underway

 

A New York developer plans a storage facility in Sayreville, New Jersey, according to MyCentralJersey. Lot 15 Jernee Mill, LLC, is seeking approval of its site plan.

   

U-Haul Buys North Dakota Site

 

U-Haul has acquired Simply Stor-It in Mitchell, South Dakota, according to Mitchell Republic. The property opened in 2020 in a former mall.  

 

Rapid to Complete Ohio Project

 

Rapid Building Solutions intends to develop self storage in a former shopping center in Hamilton, Ohio.

 

JV Plans Newark Development

 

CrownPoint Group Inc. and Lamar Cos. has acquired land in Newark, New Jersey, and plans to develop self storage. The site is a former salvage yard. Extra Space Storage will operate the facility.
