Safeguard Opens in Yonkers

Safeguard Self Storage opened a facility in Yonkers, New York. The facility near the Riverdale neighborhood of The Bronx is eight stories.

Marcus & Millichap Sells Washington Asset

Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of ABC Mini Storage in Aberdeen, Washington, for $2.25 million. Christopher Secreto listed the property on behalf of an LLC and secured the buyer, also an LLC.

Safstor Insurance in All States

Safstor Tenant Insurance through Ponderosa Insurance is now available in all 50 states. Safestor is offered at thousands of U-Haul owned facilities and is available to any facility through Ponderosa.

HPI Buys New Florida Facility

MV Investment sold a facility in Lakeland, Florida, to HPI just a month after completing construction. CubeSmart will manage the property.

Pogoda Completes 2nd Phase

Pogoda Companies has completed Phase 2 of National Storage – Charlevoix in Michigan.

Murphy Joins Midcoast

Thomas Murphy has joined Midcoast Properties Inc. as a sales associate. Previously he was a self storage development analyst.

Versal Brokers Texas Sale

Versal brokered the sale of Highway 36 & Moffat Road Storage in Temple, Texas. Bill Bellomy, Michael Johnson, Logan Foster and Hugh Horne represented a private, Texas-based seller, and secured the buyer.

SkyView Manages Florida Transaction

SkyView Advisors brokered the sale of Weeki Wachee Storage Center in Weeki Wachee, Florida. Kyle Baptist and Scott Schoettlin managed the transaction.

SVN Brokers Active in South Carolina

Kristen Wilson-Asman of SVN Storage and SelfStorageSales.com and Stephen Ahnrud of SVN BlackStream, SC, brokered the sale of Lake City Mini Storage in Lake City, South Carolina.

Buchanan Buys California Asset

Buchanan Street Partners LP, purchased a storage facility in Urban, California, for $20.75 million. Westport Properties will manage the property.

Girouard Joins Great American

Great American Storage hired Derrick Girouard as director of construction. Great American has five facilities under development.
