Eagle Mountain Self Storage in Azle, Texas. Brandon Karr and Danny Cunningham had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor, and the buyer, a limited liability company.

Westside Storage in Odessa, Texas. Brandon Karr had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor, and acquired the buyer, a limited liability company.

 

Andover Buys in North Carolina

 

Andover Properties, LLC, which operates as Storage King USA, acquired HH & H Mini Storage in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina. This is the company’s fifth acquisition in the Raleigh-Cary MSA and ninth facility in the state.

 

EquiCap Brokers Wisconsin Sale

 

The Self Storage Advisory Group at EquiCap Commercial brokered the sale of ExtraSpace Storage in Grafton, Wisconsin. The building was converted to self storage use in 2018.

 

Dominus Manages Two Texas Sales

 

Dominus Commercial Self Storage brokered the sale of two properties in Texas. The team of Chad Snyder and Tyler Trahant closed the sale of American Storage of Rockwall in Fate, Texas.

The second property was a mixed-use property in Joshua, Texas, that included a class B self storage facility and multi-tenant commercial building.

 

Gorenstein Joins Storage Authority

 

Storage Authority has named Barry Gorenstein as director of experience. Gorenstein has previously worked with Chesapeake Resources, Andover Properties, and Storage Investment Management. Storage Authority is a franchise operation based in Sarasota, Florida.

 

CBRE Fund Buys 4 StorQuest Stores

 

A fund sponsored by CBRE Global Investors has purchased four StorQuest-branded self storage properties in Colorado, California and Washington. The properties were all delivered in 2020. The properties are in Boulder, Colorado, Vista, California, and in Bothell and Lake Stevens, Washington. The fund now owns 19 self storage assets.

 

Gantry Arranges Financing for 9 Stores

 

Nine self storage facilities across four states have received a total of $120 million in life insurance financing for construction, repositioning and stabilization. The properties are in California, Oregon, Washington and Arizona, according to Multi Housing News. Working on behalf of Trojan Storage, Nova Storage and StorAmerica, a Guardian Storage Centers brand, Gantry has arranged the mortgages in four separate transactions. The Gantry team that helped structure the loans included Andy Bratt, Amit Tyagi and Spencer Seibring.

 

SkyView Brokers Dallas Sale

 

SkyView Advisors brokered the sale of Advantage Storage in the Dallas, Texas, MSA. SkyView's Richard Riddle and Ryan Clark represented the seller.

 

Midcoast Represents in Tennessee Deal

 

Michael Morrison of Midcoast Properties, Inc. represented the buyer in the purchase of a CubeSmart Self Storage-branded property in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

• Buncombe Storage in Greenville, South Carolina, which operates as a CubeSmart Self Storage.

• Starpoint Storage in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, which is branded as a Public Storage.

• Colonnade LLC in Central, South Carolina, which operates as a CubeSmart Self Storage.

• Storage Partners-Greenville in Greenville, South Carolina, which operates as CubeSmart.

• Absolute Simpsonville, LLC, in Simpsonville, South Carolina, which operates as CubeSmart.

The transaction was handled by David Spencer and Cowles “Monty” Spencer Jr.

 

Northpointe Opens Michigan Facility

 

Northpointe Storage will soon complete construction of a new self storage facility in Casco Township, Michigan. The family-owned business began in 1998.
