Arcland Property Company opened Self Storage Plus in Glen Allen, Virginia, just north of Richmond.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Talonvest Arranges $16.8 Capital Stack

 

Talonvest Capital negotiated $16.8 million for Nuvo Development that includes a joint venture equity investment and construction financing for a facility in Magnolia, New Jersey.

 

Marcus & Millichap Sells Texas Asset

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Affordable Mini Storage in Refugio, Texas. The buyer was Kingcrest Communities.

 

Moove In Buys New Jersey Storage

 

Moove In Self Storage acquired a facility in Mickleton, New Jersey. Moove In has more than 80 locations in the Mid-Atlantic, Northeast and Midwest regions.

 

Lindsey Brokers Wisconsin Deal

 

Lindsey Self Storage Group brokered the sale of Northwoods Moving & Storage in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, to a private buyer.

 

The Lock Up Building in Florida Community

 

The Lock Up Self Storage began construction on a facility in Babcock Ranch, Florida. Babcock Ranch is America’s first solar-powered town, created by Kitson & Partners.

 

Coro Betting Big on Georgia

 

Coro Realty Advisors will develop four new storage facilities in Georgia. The facilities will be in Columbus, Flowery Branch, Woodstock and Dunwoody.

 

StorHub Names New CEO

 

StorHub Group in Singapore has named Raju Ruparelia as the CEO, succeeding Mike Hagbeck, who will become non-executive chairman. StorHub has acquired and developed more than 470 stores across Asia Pacific.

 

Smartstop Gains Canadian Approval

 

Smartstop Self-Storage received approval from Victoria, British Columbia, council to develop a facility in the city, according to the Times Colonist.

 

Storage King Expands Texas Site

 

Storage King USA completed a 38,500-square-foot expansion of its facility in Argyle, Texas.

 

U-Haul Buys in Alabama

 

U-Haul acquired Assured Storage in Decatur, Alabama, renaming it U-Haul Storage of Decatur.

 

Carlyle Buys Queens Facility

 

The Carlyle Group acquired a storage facility in Queens, New York, from a joint venture between SNL Holdings and Equity Resource Investments for $50.3 million. That’s more than four times the $11 million the sellers paid for the property in 2018.
