Urban Row LLC intends to convert a former Borders bookstore in Lawrence, Kansas, to self storage. The building has been vacant for 15 years, according to The Lawrence Times.

Elite Properties intends to build self storage on the site of a long-vacant Termoplastics North property in Long Hill Township, New Jersey, according to Echoes-Sentinel.
