Seven Hills Realty Trust secured $23.8 million to recapitalize a storage facility in Los Angeles for Staley Point Capital, according to REBusiness. Extra Space Storage manages the facility.

Silo Opens Another in Georgia

 

Paces Properties opened Silo Self Storage in Woodstock, Georgia. Absolute Storage Management will manage the property.

 

Public Sets Sustainability Goals

 

Public Storage set a 45% reduction target for scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 2032, as part of its 2024 Sustainability Report. Public Storage also aims to more than double properties with solar power generation with plans to reach 1,300 properties by 2025.

 

StorageMart Manages Colorado Store

 

StorageMart will manage a newly opened storage facility in Silverthorne, Colorado. REA Development Corporation owns the facility.

Absolute Storage Management has two new management contracts. ASM will manage a new facility in the Broad Avenue District of Memphis, Tennessee, and Premier Storage at Friendship Road in Hoschton, Georgia.

 

Marcus & Millichap Sells New Mexico Portfolio

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of the two-property A+ Self Storage portfolio in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The seller was a local family partnership, and the buyer was a joint venture of Westport Properties and Heitman.

 

IREGC’s Ching Honored

 

Mary Beth Ching, chief of staff for The Investment Real Estate Group of Companies, which owns and operates Moove In Self Storage, was named a 2024 Woman of Influence by the Central Penn Business Journal. Ching is an active volunteer in the York, Pennsylvania, community.
