Five Star Buys Nebraska Location

 

Five Star Storage acquired a location in Lincoln, Nebraska, the company’s fourth in the state. 

 

 

 

Atlanta Requires Permits for New Storage

 

The Atlanta, Georgia, City Council approved an ordinance requiring special-use permits for new storage facilities. The process adds an extra layer of review.  

 

Marcus & Millichap Expands Partnership

 

Marcus & Millichap’s preferred partnership with Brown & Brown Inc., one of the world’s largest insurance brokerage firms, has expanded into Canada. 

 

ARCO/Murray Builds for Asset Realty

 

ARCO/Murray delivered a new storage facility for Asset Realty & Construction Group in Monroe, Connecticut. The facility is operated by Snapbox Storage. 

 

StorageMart Added Across Three States

 

StorageMart added five new facilities across Missouri, Kansas and Florida in the third quarter. The quarter included StorageMart’s first third party-managed locations in the Kansas City MSA.

 

Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sales

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the following sales:


•    Pak-A-Nut Storage in Bellingham, Washington, for $8 million.
•    3720 E. State Street, a storage facility in Rockford, Illinois. CubeSmart manages the site, a converted retail location. 

 

JLL Handles Florida Loan

 

JLL Capital Markets arranged a $20 million construction loan for Tarpon River Self Storage in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The borrower was Urban Street Development. 

 

Marcus & Millichap Finances Southern Portfolio

 

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation arranged $16.5 million in financing for an 11-property portfolio spanning Georgia and Florida. 

 

Texas Fundraiser Planned for Conference

 

QuikStor and Charity Storage have organized Race for a Cause, a one-of-a-kind F1 simulator fundraiser set for the TSSA Big Ideas in Storage conference and trade show Nov. 4-6 in Austin, Texas. All proceeds will go to Shriners Children’s Texas. 

 

Superior Handles Texas, North Carolina Sales

 

Superior Capital Advisors brokered the following sales:


•    National Mini Storage in Wichita Falls, Texas.
•    Storage Doctor in Lexington, North Carolina.
