Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Pioneer Storage in Mesquite, Nevada. The seller was TK Storage and the buyer was a regional operator.

In Q2 2025, self storage assets traded at an average of $123 per square foot, up 19% from a year earlier, according to StorageCafe’s sales report. New York City led the way with $50 million in sales volume.

NexPoint Reaches Equity Goal

 

NexPoint investment firm reached its goal of $45 million in equity raised since January. The fund includes facilities in Maryland and Tennessee, managed by Extra Space Storage. 

 

SmartStop Closes Debt Deal

 

SmartStop Self Storage REIT closed a $200 million CAD aggregate principal amount of Series B senior unsecured notes to be used to repay outstanding indebtedness, fund acquisitions and for general corporate purposes.
