Gelt Sells Southern Portfolio

 

Gelt Ventures sold an eight-property storage portfolio with facilities in Tennessee and Mississippi. The buyer was Minimal Storage Properties in Canada.

 

U-Haul Opens North Carolina Property

 

U-Haul Moving & Storage of Rocky Mount opened in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, marking the company’s first retail, moving and storage center in the city and 49th in the state.

Investors Form Japanese Partnership

CapitaLand Investment’s self storage platform, Extra Space Asia, has formed a partnership with Ambitious Co., the largest storage manager in Japan. The storage business operates 681 facilities across 126 cities.
