Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Absolute Self Storage in Dallas, Texas. The seller was a Nevada-based LLC, and the buyer was a New York-based LLC.

Investors Buys Contractor, Plans Storage Growth

 
James Reid, CEO of Investa Capital, acquired BBi Constructors Inc., the general contractor that built the facilities in Reid’s StorCo portfolio, which includes self storage. Reid aims to build a portfolio of 500 StorCo Storage facilities by 2050.

 

Newcomb Named Storage Park CEO

 

Storage Park Development Inc. appointed Nick Newcomb as CEO. Storage Park operates StorageMax, which has 22 facilities in three states.

 

Highline Secures Loan from Gantry

 

Commercial mortgage banking firm, Gantry, secured a permanent loan of $12.7 million to refinance two properties for Highline Storage Partners. The refinanced USA Storage Centers are in Panama City, Florida, and Hoschton, Georgia.

Public Storage appointed Chris Sambar as chief operating officer. Previously Sambar was president at AT&T Communications.
