LA County Sale Sets New Record

 

CBRE brokered the sale of a self storage facility managed by Extra Space Storage in Cerritos, California, for $91 million. The sale was the largest single-property self storage sale in history, according to CBRE. Hines was the buyer. The seller was a joint venture of Barings and Capital 360 LLC.

Marcus & Millichap brokered the following sales:

 

• Aptos Security Storage in Aptos, California, to Tobin Capital Group.

• The Storage Center portfolio located in Austin and San Antonio, Texas, and Glendale, Arizona. The seller was Brookwood Properties, and the buyer was UTEX Storage Partners.

• 12th Street Storage in Tacoma, Washington, for $19 million.
