Marcus & Millichap Active in Southwest

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the following sales:

 

• Scenic Self Storage in Littlefield, Arizona. The seller was a Utah-based investment group, and the buyer was a regional storage operator.

• A 3.2-acre site in San Antonio, Texas, to DD&B Construction, which plans a storage development.

 

Knickpoint Plans Miami Development

 

Aztec Group arranged an $18.3 million construction loan for 36th Street Storage in Miami, Florida. Knickpoint Ventures is the developer.

 

Secure Space Opens in Philadelphia

 

Secure Space Self Storage completed a new facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

Janus Adds Board Members

 

Janus International Group has elected Tony Byerly, Joseph F. Hanna and Eileen Youds to the company’s board of directors. Roger Fradin was elected chairman of the board. The appointments follow the departures of Jose E. Feliciano and Colin Leonard of Clearlake Capital Group LP, which sold most of its stake in the company in September.

 

10 Federal Raises Capital

 

10 Federal successfully raised capital surpassing $16 million in the fourth quarter of 2023 for its fourth self storage offering. Total capital raised by 10 Federal’s 4th offers is $96 million.

 

Go Store It Converts Office Building

 

Go Store It, an affiliate of Madison Capital Group, opened a storage facility in Pensacola, Florida. The property was formerly an office building completed in 1972 that was converted to storage.

 

EquiCap Closes Six December Deals

 

EquiCap Commercial closed six storage properties in December. They were: Amberstone Storage in Manteno, Illinois; Sunshine Storage in Plaquemine, Louisiana; StorSafe of Cary in Cary Illinois; Bos Creek Storage and Lake Tomahawk Storage in northern Wisconsin; and Hazelhurst Storage in Hazelhurst, Wisconsin.

 

Copper Storage Names New CEO

Jacob Copper will become CEO of Copper Storage Management. Copper replaces Terry Campbell.

 

Storage Structures Rebrands

 

Storage Structures is rebranding the business to Elevate Structures. The Georgia-based company is a division of Central States. Elevate will continue to provide the storage industry with products and services while expanding into multifamily, hotel and student housing construction markets.

 

Canadian Storage Sells

 

The Storage Acquisition Group brokered the sale of U-Lock Mini Storage in Burnaby, British Columbia.

 

Five Star Adds in Minnesota

 

Five Star Storage acquired a facility in St. Paul, Minnesota.
