PSA Buys West Coast Portfolio

 

Cushman & Wakefield completed the sale of a four-property self storage portfolio on behalf of a joint venture between Baranof Holdings and a fund advised by Crow Holdings Capital. Public Storage Inc. bought the four properties located in Los Angeles, Orange County, San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle. Greg Wells, Luke Elliott, Mike Mele and Jim Lewis represented the seller.
 

10 Federal Holds 3rd Capital Raise

 

10 Federal’s Self Storage Acquisition Company 3, LLC offering raised $7.4 million in 18 days since launching efforts on April 13, 2021. With the proceeds, 10 Federal Self Storage Acquisition Company 3, LLC acquired All American self storage in McDonough, Georgia.

 

Midcoast Brokers Georgia Sale

 

Midcoast Properties, Inc. brokered the sale of Attics Storage in Newnan, Georgia.  Michael Morrison represented the seller. A regional buyer purchased the facility.

 

Store Space Headed To Knoxville

 

Store Space will open its first Tennessee storage facility near the Old City in Knoxville, according to Knoxville News Sentinel. Store Space acquired the 100-year-old Fireproof Storage building in March 2020 and intends to complete the project by end of the year.

 

Lindsey Brokers Missouri Portfolio

 

Lindsey Self Storage Group brokered the sale of the Reliable Storage Solutions portfolio in Missouri. Kirk Martin represented the seller in the four-store portfolio transaction, which sold to a private buyer.

Marcus & Millichap Active in Maine, Idaho

 

Marcus & Millichap negotiated the following sales:

• JMC Self-Storage portfolio of four properties in southern Maine. Nathan Coe, Brett Hatcher and Gabriel Coe represented the seller, a limited liability company.

• City Storage in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Jordan Farrer and Adam Schlosser of the LeClaire-Schlosser Group represented the seller and secured the buyer.

 

Janus Begins Trading on NYSE

 

Janus International Group is now a publicly traded company. Janus’ stock started trading June 8 on the New York Stock Exchange. Temple, Georgia-based Janus merged with Chatham, New Jersey-based Juniper Industrial Holdings. Juniper already traded on the NYSE under the ticker symbol JIH. Following the merger, the new symbol is JBI. Janus is a manufacturer of doors and other products for self storage and industrial facilities. Santa Monica, California-based Clearlake Capital Group is still Janus’ largest shareholder.

 

SpareBox Gains 9 Properties

 

SpareBox Storage has acquired nine stabilized properties from multiple sellers in Oklahoma City and outlying markets. SpareBox Storage is sponsored by Rizk Ventures and led by CEO Steve Treadwell, previously an executive with National Storage Affiliates. SpareBox Storage now has 60 stores in five states.

 

Talonvest Finds Loan for Magellan

 

Talonvest Capital, Inc. represented Magellan Value Partners in structuring a $14.4 million self storage construction loan for the development of a facility in Azusa, California. MVP purchased the site in 2019.

 

Wasatch Buys in Austin

 

Wasatch Storage Partners has purchased Springwood Self Storage in Austin, Texas. JLL Capital Markets represented the seller, Springwood Self Storage LLC, in the transaction. Life Storage will manage the property.
