Warehouse Anywhere, which offers flexible, scalable business storage, has acquired XPS Solutions, a contact center and remote management provider. XPS Solutions will continue to operate as a Warehouse Anywhere Company.

Storage Star Management doubled in size in the second quarter of the year, adding 60 properties to its platform, bringing the total to 119 assets in 21 states.

The public REITs are set to announce earnings. Here are the dates:

•    Extra Space Storage will release financial results July 28.
•    Public Storage will release results July 29.

•    SmartStop Self Storage will release financial results Aug. 5.

 

Atlanta Puts Brakes on Storage

 

The Atlanta City Council unanimously approved a 190-day moratorium on the construction of new storage facilities so officials can implement new land-use regulations.

Baltimore County, Maryland, approved a plan to block self storage in certain areas along scenic byways.

U-Haul Starts Albuquerque New-Build
