Westport Properties developed a new storage facility in Covina, California. The property will be branded under Westport’s US Storage Centers brand.

 

 

 

 

Public Storage Opens New Texas HQ 

 

Public Storage has officially opened its new headquarters in Frisco, Texas, leaving its longtime southern California home. The new office is in Frisco’s Hall Park. 

 

Bancap Sells Two California Assets

 

Bancap Self Storage Group brokered the sale of A&L Storage in Victorville and San Jacinto Storage in San Jacinto, both in California. 

 

JLL Handles New York Financing

 

JLL Capital Markets arranged the sale and facilitated the financing for Jefferson Valley Self Storage in Jefferson Valley, New York. The seller was Columbia Pacific Advisors, and the buyer was Horizon Storage Group.

•    CubeSmart – Houston, in Houston, Texas.
•    Store It All, a two-property portfolio in Murrells Inlet and Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

Oakside brokered the sale of 43rd Street Self Storage in Gainesville, Florida. 

 

Marcus & Millichap Sells Texas Facility

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Decatur Self Storage in Decatur, Texas. The seller was a family-owned operation and the buyer was SW Group, based in Houston.

 

Pelski Joins Toy Storage Nation Board

 

Toy Storage Nation named Brian Pelski to its executive advisory board. Pelski is co-founder of The Storage Group.

Versal brokered the following sales: 

•    Double Horn Storage in Spicewood, Texas. The seller was Double Horn Properties and the buyer was Cypress Ridge Investments.
•    Lone Star Storage Center in New Braunfels, Texas. 

 

DXD Breaks Ground on Texas New-Build

 

DXD Capital broke ground on a new storage facility in Carrollton, Texas, the firm’s fourth ground-up development in the Texas Triangle. Extra Space Storage will manage the property.
