Tourbineau Real Estate Partners will invest $13 million to remake an office building in Silver Spring, Maryland, into self storage. The building was purchased for $4.25 million. 

 

Five Star Expands to Nebraska

 

Five Star Storage acquired three facilities in Nebraska, its first expansion into the state. The properties are in Bellevue and Lincoln. 

 

Schroders Starts UK Platform

 

Schroders Capital launched a self storage investment platform in the U.K. called The Self Storage Partnership. Clients will be able to invest into a private REIT structure. 

 

SmartStop Buys in New Jersey

 

SmartStop Self Storage acquired a facility in Rahway, New Jersey. 

 

Versal Sells Texas Asset

 

Versal brokered the sale of McQueeney Boat & RV Storage in McQueeney, Texas. The seller was DFD Interests LLC.
