Nantucket Facility Changes Hands

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Old South Self Storage in Nantucket, Massachusetts. Old South is one of only four storage properties on the island.

 

 

 

 

DXD Finishes Long Island Project

 

DXD Capital completed a new storage facility in the Long Island community of Huntington Station, New York. Extra Space Storage will operate the facility.

 

Bluebird Opens Ontario Storage

 

Bluebird Self Storage has opened a new facility in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

 

StorSuite Rebrands as StorFront

 

StorSuite has rebranded its website platform as StorFront. StorSuite launched in 2024 through the merger of seven industry vendors.

 

Go Store It Opens in California

 

Go Store It Self Storage opened its largest project in Redlands, California.

 

Metro Goes Solar

 

Metro Self Storage engaged Wunder to deploy six solar projects in Illinois and New Jersey totaling more than 710 kW.

 

Bohlman Joins Right Move Storage

 

Right Move Storage LLC named Jennifer Bohlman as business development manager.

 

Urow Brokers Georgia Sale

 

Urow Real Estate brokered the sale of Dacula Self Storage in Dacula, Georgia.

 

U-Haul Buying Nationwide

 

U-Haul made the following acquisitions:


•    U-Haul Moving & Storage at West River Road in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
•    U-Haul will build U-Haul Moving and Storage of Deep Creek Lake in Oakland, Maryland.
•    All Season Storage in Kingsport, Tennessee. The facility has been rebranded to U-Haul Storage of Fort Henry Drive.

 

Buchanan Plans California Project

 

Buchanan Street Partners acquired a medical office building in Upland, California, and will demolish it and build a four-story storage facility.

 

10 Federal to Expand Management

 

10 Federal is expanding its third-party management platform in 2025. The company’s proprietary system integrates AI and automation.
