Pogoda Lands Two Under Management

 

Pogoda Companies has two new management contracts in Detroit, Michigan, and Dayton, Ohio. In Dayton, the property is National Storage-Woodman. National Storage-New Center is located in the bottom two floors of the historic Albert Kahn building in Detroit.

 

ARCO/Murray Completes Omaha Storage

 

ARCO/Murray partnered with Redbird Group, LLC to build a self storage facility in Omaha, Nebraska. The facility will be operated by Extra Space Storage.

 

Andover Enters Lending Business

 

Andover Properties launched Andover Storage Lending, a program to originate non-recourse financing for self storage nationally. The program’s first loan was to Madison Capital for a Go Store It refinance in Richmond, Virginia.

 

Harless Joins Storage Authority

 

Storage Authority has named Kevin Harless director of development. Harless has 15 years of experience at U-Haul. Storage Authority has 31 franchisees.

 

Go Store It Opens in California

 

Go Store It Self Storage opened a facility in Pico Rivera, California.

 

Developer Plans Illinois Conversion

 

Orput Companies Inc. intends to convert a former Kmart in Rockford, Illinois, to self storage, according to the Rockford Register Star.

 

VanWest Buys Jacksonville Facility

 

VanWest Partners acquired a storage facility in Jacksonville, Florida. VanWest intends to expand the property, built in 2021. The property has been rebranded ClearHome Self Storage – Firestone Road.

 

Tennessee Storage Changes Hands

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of Leeville Pike Storage in Lebanon, Tennessee.

 

Stuf Opens in Brooklyn

 

Stuf Storage opened a facility in Brooklyn, New York. Developer RXR owns the property. Stuf Storage operates 30 facilities across seven states.
