SROA Expands Bridge Financing

 

SROA Capital completed the first closing of its ninth flagship fund, SROA Capital Fund IX. Up to 15% of the fund will be focused on originating senior bridge loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments to storage developers and operators.   

 

JLL Sells Texas Property

 

JLL brokered the sale of Atlas Self Storage in Midland, Texas. Adam Roossien, Matthew Wheeler, Steve Mellon and Brian Somoza represented the local seller and procured the buyer, KO Storage.

SafeLease, a provider of tenant protection for self storage, has been implemented in over 1,000 self storage facilities across the US. SafeLease is headquartered in Austin, Texas.

Meridian Storage Group brokered the sale of Pleasant Garden Road Self Storage in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Franklin Street brokered the sale of Hayes Water Storage in Morganton, North Carolina. David Perlleshi and Frank DeSalvo managed the transaction.

 

Robertson Joins EquiCap

 

EquiCap Commercial hired Paul Robertson as vice president of the company’s Self Storage Advisory Group. Robertson was previously with Marcus & Millichap.

 

U-Haul Buys Houston Facility

 

U-Haul has acquired Space City Self Storage in Houston, Texas. U-Haul plans to develop a U-Box storage warehouse at the property.

 

SecureSpace Adds in Philadelphia

 

SecureSpace Self Storage opened a facility in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

 

Argus Brokers Iowa Storage

 

Argus Self Storage Advisors brokered the sale of Osceola Self Storage in Osceola, Iowa. Nathan Gottlieb, Alex Ihrke, Matt Haugen and Tom Flannigan marketed the property and secured the buyer.

 

Talonvest Directs Loan for Crescendo

 

Talonvest Capital arranged a $10.1 million bridge loan for Crescendo Properties for a storage facility located in Vancouver, Washington. Talonvest team members responsible for the assignment were David DiRienzo, Kim Bishop, Mason Brusseau and Lauren Maehler.
