CBRE Brokers Deals

 

CBRE brokered the following transactions:

  • Sherrills Ford Self Storage in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, for $6.73 million.

  • Apple Tree Storage in Memphis, Tennessee, for $6.55 million. The seller was Palatine Capital Partners, and the buyer was Baranof Holdings.

 

California Asset Trades

 

Performance Self Storage Group brokered the sale of National Storage Centers in Windsor, California. Jay Allen managed the transaction.

 

Marcus & Millichap Brokers Sales

 

Marcus & Millichap brokered the following sales:

  • A 24-property KO Storage portfolio located throughout Minnesota. Nathan Coe, Gabriel Coe, and Brett Hatcher represented the seller and procured the buyer.

  • Weekender Storage in Woodland, Washington, for $8.9 million. Christopher R. Secreto listed the property on behalf of a limited liability company and secured the buyer, a limited liability company.

  • Trojan Self Storage in Troy, Texas. Brandon Karr represented the seller, a private individual, and secured the Texas-based private buyer.

 

Self Storage Manager Completes Integration

 

Digital marketing firm The Storage Group announced a new integration with Self Storage Manager, Inc., a cloud-based property management software firm. The integration will provide seamless property management with Self Storage Manager Enterprise Management Software and ClickandStor Online Rental Suite, providing a complete software solution for self storage operators.

 

SkyView Active in Sales

 

SkyView Advisors brokered the following sales:

  • Betta Stor-It in Mobile, Alabama. Kyle Baptist, Richard Riddle and Scott Schoettlin managed the transaction.

  • Aardvark Self Storage in Detroit Michigan. Hunter Sells and Schoettlin managed the transaction.

 

Tulsa Property Changes Hands

 

Strategic Development Group, LLC acquired the former Kool Storage in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The property has been rebranded to Woodlands Self Storage. 180 Self Storage will provide management.

 

Forge Building For-Sale Units

 

Forge Building Company broke ground on a second phase of its LuxeLocker Boat & RV Storage in Boise, Idaho. Customers will own the individual storage units instead of renting them.

 

CushWake Sells NYC Assets

 

Cushman & Wakefield brokered the sale of two New York City facilities in Brooklyn and Queens to Invesco Real Estate in partnership with Baranof Holdings. Noah Obuchowski, Mike Mele, Robert Bloch, and Luke Elliott represented the seller, Kickpoint Ventures.

 

Storage Ninjas Opens in Nebraska

 

Storage Ninjas opened its first facility in Grand Island, Nebraska. Katherine D’Agostino is the founder of Self Storage Ninjas, a feasibility consultancy specializing in self storage and boat and RV storage market analysis.

 

Midcoast Sells North Carolina Asset

 

Midcoast Properties, Inc. brokered the sale of Storage Ideas in Newport, North Carolina. Hal H. Tanner, III represented the seller. The facility was sold to a regional buyer.

 

Talonvest Assists Clark Investment Group

 

Talonvest Capital assisted Clark Investment Group in the $17 million-refinance of a storage facility in Eastvale, California.  

 

Parkview Provides Loan for Conversion

 

Parkview Financial provided an $18.3 million construction loan to KCT Inc. to convert a building in Yonkers, New York, to storage. CubeSmart will operate the facility when it opens in late 2023.
