Strategic Storage Trust VI, a SmartStop Self Storage REIT arm, acquired two facilities in Newark, Delaware, and Levittown, Pennsylvania. SAFStor sold the properties for a combined $40.7 million.
 

Copper Sells, Campbell Named CEO

 

Cohen Investment Group acquired Copper Safe Storage, a 21-property portfolio across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi and Tennessee from Bill and Bob Copper. Terry Campbell has joined Copper Storage Solutions as CEO. Campbell was previously head of storage lending for Live Oak Bank. The Greenhalgh Storage Group of Marcus & Millichap represented the sellers and buyers.

Life Storage Buys Portfolio

JLL Capital Markets has closed the sale of an eight-property portfolio across Chicago, Illinois; Raleigh and Fayetteville, North Carolina; and Dallas, Texas. The seller was Harrison Street. Life Storage acquired the portfolio. 

 

DealPoint Merrill Trades in Texas

 

California-based investment firm DealPoint Merrill sold a facility in Benbrook, Texas, for $20 million.

 

Invesco Buys in North Carolina

 

Invesco Real Estate Income Trust Inc. acquired a facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, developed in 2008.

 

HPI Adds Florida Storage

 

Texas-based HPI acquired a Cubesmart-managed property in Jacksonville, Florida, for $28 million. The seller was TSO Normandy Self Storage LP. Meir Perlmuter, Nathan and Gabriel Coe, and Brett Hatcher with Marcus & Millichap brokered the deal.

 

Alabama Extra Space Sells

 

KNG Fairfield Holdings LLC sold an Extra Space Storage-managed property in Birmingham, Alabama, for $9.6 million. The buyer was SAF NOB Aaron Aronov LLC, of Windermere, Florida.
