Janus International Group, LLC has named Christine DeBord president of Nokē ® Smart Entry and Terry Bagley president of industry & partner relationships. Both DeBord and Bagley will report to Morgan Hodges, executive vice president of Janus. REITs Among Forbes’ Best Employers

 

Three publicly traded self storage REITs were named on the 2021 list of “America's Best Midsize Employers” by Forbes magazine and data-research firm Statista. CubeSmart and Extra Space Storage Inc. were named in the Business Services & Supplies category, while Life Storage Inc. was placed in the Transportation and Logistics category.

Companies were included based on survey results on questions such as work conditions, pay, professional development and company image. CubeSmart ranked the highest at No. 112. The Malvern, Pennsylvania company has 1,200 employees. Extra Space came in at No. 227. The Salt Lake City company has 2,180 employees. Life Storage ranked No. 390. It employs about 2,000 people and is based in Buffalo, New York.

 

ARCO/Murray Finishes Houston Job

 

ARCO/Murray completed construction of a new self storage facility for FivePoint Capital Management in Houston, Texas. ARCO/Murray provided a complete design-build solution including architectural and engineering design, permitting, and construction. Preston Brown was the project manager and Paul Ryan served as the superintendent.

 

LSC Delivers New York Facility

 

LSC Development completed construction of a self storage facility in Flushing, New York. The facility is managed by Life Storage, Inc.

 

Maine Electronics Store to Convert

 

Brady Sullivan Properties — doing business as True Storage Bangor, LLC — plans to build a new self storage facility on a site that was once a Circuit City, according to Bangor Daily News. The project is expected to cost $4.1 million. Brady Sullivan Properties is based in Manchester, New Hampshire.

 

Jenkins Promotes Managers

 

The Jenkins Organization Inc. has promoted Amanda Dickson to district manager and Jeremy Rollwitz to regional manager. Dickson will oversee properties in North Texas and Oklahoma, while Rollwitz will cover 45-plus locations in Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

The Jenkins Organization recently hired Cherolyn Johnson Chiang as director of marketing.

 

InSite Adds in New Jersey

 

InSite Property Group acquired Statewide Self Storage in Piscataway, New Jersey.

The facility will be operated by InSite's wholly-owned management firm and rebranded as SecureSpace Stelton.
