Inland Real Estate Group LLC has agreed to acquire a majority interest in the business of Devon Self Storage Holdings, LLC, one of the largest privately owned national storage operators. Devon manages 202 properties.

Boxwell has expanded its product line to include roll up doors. Boxwell is a B2B provider of relocatable self storage units. Boxwell's new roll up doors are available for standalone orders, hallway systems, or paired with Boxwell relocatable units.

 

StorSafe Adds to Portfolio

 

StorSafe Self Storage acquired two facilities in Cedar Lake, Indiana, and Melbourne, Florida. StorSafe’s portfolio is now at 29 facilities in six states.

 

U-Box Warehouse to Open in Tennessee

 

U-Haul acquired a building to house portable storage containers in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The building was formerly a paper recycling center. It will be repurposed for a U-Box warehouse.

 

Absolute Announces Results

 

Absolute Storage Management announced operating results for the year ended Dec. 31, 2023. ASM increased same-store revenue by 1.3% and acquired 27 management contracts.

 

Ziff Buys Alabama Asset

 

Ziff Real Estate Partners of Charleston, South Carolina, purchased a storage facility in Birmingham, Alabama, from Copper Storage Solutions for $7.85 million. Marcus & Millichap marketed the property. Public Storage will manage the property.

National Storage Affiliates Trust appointed Lisa R. Cohn to its board. Cohn is president and general counsel of Apartment Income REIT Corp.

CBRE brokered the sale of a storage development site in Buckeye, Arizona for $2.4 million. The seller was Identico, Inc.
