Progress Capital secured a $19.7 million construction loan for a new self storage facility in Rockaway Beach, New York. Developer Asset Realty & Construction Group will partner with Snapbox Self Storage. The facility will include 88 underground parking spaces to serve summer beachgoers.

Personal Mini Co-Founder Remembered

 

Ron Shader, co-founder of Orlando, Florida-based Personal Mini Storage passed away December 30th at the age of 91. Shader dedicated 40 years to the company after founding it with his late brother, Stan, in 1982. “Uncle Ron was more than an uncle and a boss to me; he was a role model whose kindness and humility touched every aspect of our business,” said Laurie Shader Smith, vice president of Personal Mini Storage.
